Pussers British Navy Rum - The Nelson Ships Ceramic Decanter 54.5% - 1 Litre
Pussers British Navy Rum. The Nelson Ships Decanter. Ceramic Decanter made by Wade. 1 litre. 54.5%.

Pusser’s Rum was created in 1979 to replicate the style of the original Navy ‘tot’, the rum ration issued to sailors in the British naval forces, which had been discontinued on Black Tot Day, 31st July 1970. Pusser’s Rum was the brainchild of Charles Tobias, who used a traditional naval recipe of five West Indian rums; the name Pusser’s is a slang term for the Purser, the ship’s supply officer who supervised the dilution of the ship’s rum to make grog and its distribution to the ranks.
In return for the rights to the original naval rum recipe and the use of the Royal Navy ensign on Pusser’s bottles, a portion of the profit on every bottle of Pusser’s sold goes to the Royal Navy Sailor’s Fund, known as the Tot Fund. In recent years Pusser’s have diversified their offering, with the classic rum now available at various different strengths and Spiced and 15-year-old expressions added to the Pusser's range.
