1 bottle Ardbeg 1976 - 1999 Manager's Dram. Cask number 2391. Bottle no 470 of 497. No box. 70cl. 56%. Level in neck. Excellent condition. This was hand bottled at the distillery back in 1999 and was the first of many truly incredible casks to be released by, at that time new owners, Glenmorangie. This is still considered one of the best casks ever releases of Ardbeg. This bottle comes from an Islay local who bought it originally at the time of release and has kept it in pristine condition ever since. It is worth noting we have in this auction the even rarer variant of this bottling, the 1975 Manager's Dram for the Japanese market (LOT: 576). Another incredibly hard to find early official Ardbeg single cask.
