LOT DESCRIPTION

1 bottle Bowmore 1964 38 Year Old. Bourbon Matured. Part of the 1964 Trilogy release. In lockable wooden presentation cabinet with keys. Bottle number 20 of 300. With official distillery letter. 75cl. 43.2%.

This is a very rare 75cl variant of this bottling of which only 20 were produced in error during the bottling process. The label states 70cl but the glass coding at the base of the bottle states 75cl.

This is further confirmed in an official letter from the distillery explaining the bottling error and confirming that this bottle number is one of only 20 that were produced at this size. See images.

Part of a legendary trilogy of different wood matured 1964 Bowmores. The full set of which is offered in this auction. A stunning bottling and an absolutely exquisite whisky.
