In the final 10 minutes before the end of the auction, any individual Lot that receives a bid will have its finishing time extended by 10 minutes. Any further bids after 20:00 will reset a 10-minute timer for that Lot until no further bids have been placed within 10 minutes, and Lots that have failed to meet their reserves will have their timers synced to the Lot with the longest time remaining.

Chivas Brothers is the Scotch whisky arm of Pernod Ricard, the world’s second-largest drinks company. From humble beginnings as an Aberdeen grocer and wine merchant, Chivas gained Royal Warrants in the 1840s and grew into an established whisky broker and blender. The iconic Chivas Regal brand first appeared in 1909 as a luxury 25-year-old blended whisky for the US market.
In the 1930s, Chivas Regal was relaunched as a 12-year-old blend. Canadian multinational Seagrams bought Chivas Brothers in 1949, and the famous Royal Salute 21-year-old was launched in 1952. Pernod Ricard took over Chivas Brothers in 2001, and today the company’s portfolio includes over a dozen Scotch whisky distilleries including Glenlivet, Aberlour, Strathisla, Longmorn and Scapa.

Most items will be described as good or fair, this does not mean it will not exhibit wear or tear. We do recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. Please note: due to the various ages of bottles, corks and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion. And no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in any circumstance. All bottles are checked for authenticity by our whisky specialists Wayne & Harrison Ormerod prior to any auction. We do not auction opened bottles so therefore all items are sealed unless stated under certain circumstances where seals were never issued by the producer.
No item is deemed new and may exhibit wear or tear, however many items are generally in good condition. If an item has notable faults, we will make every effort to mention these in the description. The images supplied are of the actual item you will receive. If the filling level of the liquid is not visible in the images provided, we aim to indicate the current position in the description. If the filling level is impossible to determine, such as with ceramics decanters, we will provide an overall weight of the decanter in KG. Our filling level guideline can be on this page.
