18 half bottles Dunvilles Three Crowns Special Liqueur Irish Whiskey in original wooden packing crate with original fill. Stopper corks with branded lead foil seals. No individual boxes. Rotation 1948. Date acquired from wooden case with rotation date stamped on side. No capacity stated but bottles are standard half size. Levels upper - top shoulder, exceptionally well preserved for bottles of such age. Slight wear and ageing to labels but overall excellent condition for age. Dunvilles was produced at The Royal Irish Distillery in Belfast which closed in 1936 due to pressure from the Great Depression and Prohibition in America. This bottling of Dunville's 3 Crowns dates from 1948 so would contain whiskey over 12 years of age. A set of remarkable and beautifully preserved bottles.
