1 bottle Glenfarclas 1983 - 2013. 30 Year Old. Magnus Platform. In wooden presentation box. 70cl. 43%. Level in neck. Good condition. This bottle is being auctioned for JDRF UK (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Ltd) and as such has ZERO seller's and buyer's commission so please bid generously. Overview of the Charity JDRF is the type 1 diabetes charity. They fund research to prevent, treat and cure type 1 diabetes and its complications, and they're the world's largest charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research. They provide information for children, adults and parents living with the condition, at all stages from diagnosis and beyond. They give a voice to people with type 1 diabetes and campaign for increased focus on, and funding for, research to find the cure. They work with academia, industry and governments to make sure that the research they fund has the greatest possible impact on the lives of people with type 1 now and in the future. The Vendors Aim Raising funds for the Charity that has offered them support and provided information and resources to help them support their child who was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 6. As a family they would like to give back to the charity so this year they have arranged a sponsored family duathlon which will take place in their home Village of Westhill, Aberdeenshire on  9th June 2018 to raise funds.  The duathlon currently has 124 participants and will consist of a 5K run and 20K bike ride. To help raise funds for thir duathlon their auctioning off this lovely bottle of whisky; all proceeds from this sale will go direct to JDRF, charity no. 295716.
