LOT DESCRIPTION

1 bottle Club Liqueur Irish Whisky. Bottled circa 1940. Guaranteed 16 Years Old. Proprietors John Mckibbin Sons Ltd Belfast. No box. No capacity stated although equivalent to 75cl. 70 proof. Two piece molded brown glass. Stopper cork with branded foil capsule. Hand-written date of 1948 on label. Level low shoulder. Slight wear to label otherwise good condition for age. An old bottle of Club Liqueur Irish Whisky, guaranteed 16 years old, bottled circa 1940 by John Mckibbin Sons Ltd Belfast. There are a few interesting statements on the label that suggests it could have been bottled in the 1930s. Someone has written 1948 on the label which suggests that is when the bottle was acquired. Also notice there is no E in Whisky. A beautiful and very interesting piece of Irish liquid history.
