1 bottle Macallan 1958. Bottled 1973+ by Gordon & MacPhail. Sherry Wood. No box. 26 2/3 Fl Ozs. 80 proof. Level in bottle. Wear & tear to label. Please note this particular bottle has minor signs of leakage from the past and the liquid has a a light tinge of oily residue on top and is slightly murky which is commonly found with low filling levels. Please bid accordingly as we can not be held responsible for the condition of the liquid. This is a magnificent find. 9 bottles of Macallan 1958 stored in a farm office under a pile of paperwork for the past 40 years. The vendors father originally purchased them from the Derby Co Operative sometime in the 1970s. The outer box mentions these are a 15 year old so they would have been bottled around 1973. With 3 bottles being consumed the remaining 9 bottles have survived untouched until it was recently discovered. This is one of the 9 remaining bottles from the original outer cardboard box; all of which, including the case itself are offered for sale in this auction. After this sale there will be no further opportunities to acquire these bottles from this batch.

All bottles are inspected prior to sale and, unless otherwise stated, are sealed. However, Whisky-Online Auctions cannot guarantee the integrity of any cork, seal, stopper or closure.
Images form part of the description and depict the actual Lot being offered. Where visible, fill levels will be shown in the images and/or description. If the filling level is impossible to determine, such as with ceramics decanters, we will provide an overall weight of the decanter in KG.
