These bottles originally came in cases of 12. The outer cases have a rotation number indicating 1965. Stapled to the case was an address label (the address where we collected the whisky from) at the bottom is the same rotation number that was printed on the outer case as well as the case number. These bottles were stored in the same cellar as the Ben Nevis and ‘Cragamore’ 15-year-old whiskies that also feature in this month’s auction.
