Ainslies - Spring Cap - 1950s
1 bottle Ainslie's Royal Edinburgh Choice Scotch Whisky. Bottled 1950s. Spring cap with branded foil seal. No box. No capacity stated although bottle is full size. 70 proof. Level top shoulder. Some wear to label but otherwise condition is very good for age. Clynelish was always the main component malt of Ainslie's and this 1950s era bottling will contain a significant proportion of malt whisky in the vatting. These can be fantastic and are usually a brilliant way to get a sense of old style malt whisky and how it used to taste long before mass modernisation took hold of the industry.
