From the Archives. "The whisky is of the finest and this cask is an excellent example. Hard to say what sort of cask, probably but not certainly sherry. There can be no doubt of the quality of the spirit. Pale but sweet, with a great aroma; pear drops on the nose. Tastes of caramel coffee or fudge. Definitely an unleaded 4-star."
