Clynelish 1965 - 1986. Bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Society cask number 26.1. 75cl. 55%. 97 Proof.
This is one of the real finds of this auction's SMWS collection, the very first SMWS bottling of Clynelish. This was distilled in 1965 at the first, pre-Brora, Clynelish distillery making this bottling a real anomaly amongst the Society bottlings as it technically comes from a different distillery as all the later 26 number bottlings that would follow. A wonderful find.
