Egan's 12 Year Old - Finest Liqueur Irish Whiskey - John Jameson & Son Ltd - 1950s
Egan's 12 Year Old. Finest Liqueur Irish Whiskey. John Jameson & Son Ltd, P&H Egan Ltd. Tullamore. Bottled 1950s. No size or strength stated although equal to full size bottle. 2 piece moulded glass bottle. Driven cork with branded foil seal.
A beautiful old bottle of Jameson 12-year-old Irish whiskey bottled by Irish merchants and whiskey bonders P. & H. Egan of Tullamore at some point around the 1950s, when Jameson would still have been a pure pot still whiskey. Egan’s was a large family blending and bonding company established in Co. Offaly in 1852, and was also involved with brewing for Powers and bottling Guinness. The original Egan’s business folded in 1968 but was revived by the family in 2013. A marvellous old bottle of Irish whiskey history.
