INFORMATION
Glen Gordon 1957. Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. Bottled 1990s. 70cl. 40%.
A bottle of Glen Gordon 1957, one of several vintage mystery Highland malts bottled in the 1990s by Gordon & MacPhail. These sherried vintage malts were strongly rumoured to be Macallan but of course they could just as easily be Glenfarclas or one of the other Speyside or Highland malts that forbid indie bottlers from using their names. What’s not in doubt, however, is the outstanding quality of these exceptional old school sherried drams.
