Released for the 1991 winter bottlings this is described as one of the great north-eastern whiskies. From the archives. ''It is constantly one of our best whiskies. Dark gold colour; rich, smooth, velvet nose beautifully balancing aromatic and fruit odours. Sweet. fruity taste: apricots, prunes and peaches. Take it with oatcakes or water biscuits.''
