1 bottle Glenlivet bottled 1949. Winterschladen & Co. Ltd. Wine & Spirit Merchants Middlesbrough. No box. No capacity stated. S.9.O.P. Level top shoulder. Wear and tear to label. This bottle belonged to a family based in Durham. The bottle has been in the families possession ever since it was originally purchased c. 1950. Winterschladen & Co is one of many ancient spirit merchants based around the UK who would often bottle whisky for associations. Notice how the label has been run through a typewriter to identify the contents. A very interesting bottle that we've certainly never come across before.
