Hennessy X.O Cognac is one of the world's most iconic prestige cognacs, originally created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy for his family and close circle of friends. The term "X.O" (Extra Old), which Hennessy itself pioneered, has since become the benchmark for aged cognac across the industry. Produced in the Cognac region of western France, Hennessy X.O is crafted from a carefully selected blend of eaux-de-vie, matured in French oak casks to develop exceptional richness, depth and complexity.

Presented in Hennessy's distinctive decanter-style bottle with embossed grapevine decoration this bottling dates from the late 1990s to early 2000s and is bottled at 40% ABV in the traditional 70cl format. Throughout this period, Hennessy continued to refine the presentation of its flagship expression while maintaining the luxurious character that has made X.O one of the most recognisable and sought-after cognacs in the world.

Hennessy X.O is created from a blend of more than one hundred eaux-de-vie, many drawn from the finest crus of the Cognac region and matured for many years before being selected by the Maison's master blender.
