Herradura Anejo Tequila - Early 2000s

A classic bottling of Herradura Añejo Tequila from the early 2000s, produced at Casa Herradura in Amatitán, Jalisco, one of Mexico's oldest and most respected tequila producers. Founded in 1870, Herradura has long been recognised for producing traditional 100% blue agave tequilas using estate-grown agave and a commitment to natural fermentation.
Unlike the minimum one-year maturation required for an añejo tequila, Herradura has historically matured its Añejo expression for around 25 months in American oak barrels. This extended ageing creates a richer, more complex spirit while retaining the vibrant agave character that has made the distillery so highly regarded.
