Islay Mist - 1960s
1 bottle Islay Mist. Bottled 1960s by D Johnston & Co Laphroaig. No box. 26 2/3 fluid ounces. 70 proof. Level in neck. Some ageing to label. A very well preserved old bottle of Islay Mist from when it had a high proportion of malt - a large amount of which was Laphroaig. Note the rear label which gives wonderful information on the composite malts present in the blend. These bottlings are fantastically smoky, resinous, fruity and oily. Terrific whisky.
