A wonderful old bottle of Macallan 1964 bottled in 1981 in the old Special Selection series of vintage bottlings that were the immediate predecessors to the classic blue ribbon Macallan 18-year-olds that appeared in the mid-1980s. These 1960s vintage Macallan 18-year-olds are all absolutely magnificent whiskies from a distillery at the height of its powers.
