Rosebank 1938 - Robert Stewart & Son - 1960s

1 bottle Rosebank 1938. Bottled 1960s by Robert Stewart & Son. No box. Screw top bottle with stopper cork and plain foil wrapper seal. 26 2/3 Fl Ozs. 70 proof. Level upper mid-shoulder. Label wrinkled otherwise good condition.  You will find not one but two bottles of pre-war Rosebanks in this sale. Both bottled sometime in the 1960s by an obscure Edinburgh merchant Robert Stewart & Son. Although these were distilled in 1938, Rosebank was one of the few distilleries that managed to continue operating during World War 2. These are certainly the oldest bottling's we've ever come across from this now closed distillery.
