VAT 69 - Circa 1940
VAT 69 bottled circa 1940. Stopper cork with branded paper strip seal. Royal Warrant to King George VI. No capacity stated but bottle is standard size. 70 proof.
This rather beautiful old bottle of VAT 69 has been in the vendor's family since around the start of the second world war. The level is still at a good position and the whisky remains clear so should be perfectly drinkable. Should be delicious, high-malt content old style blended whisky.
