White Horse Cellar - Bottled 1916
White Horse bottled 1916. Royal Warrant to His Majesty the King. Mackie & Coy Distillers Ltd. Lagavulin Distillery Island Of Islay and Glenlivet District. Driven cork with branded lead foil capsule. Typical early 20th century moulded glass with natural inclusions and defects. No strength or capacity mentioned.
A remarkable and beautiful bottle. One of the oldest examples of White Horse to ever come up for auction. During this era of bottling the malt content in this bottle would have been very high, including a very large proportion of Lagavulin.
