Yellow Label Pure Rye - 1920s

Yellow Label Very Old Pure Rye Whiskey. Bottled 1920s by C.A. Van Rensselaer & Co New York. Label stamped with: "Drawn from package stamped under act of October 3rd 1917". Driven cork. No foil on cork but cork shows signs of age consistent with bottling era. 1 pint 8 fluid ounces. No strength stated.

A rather remarkable little time capsule of American distilling history.
