Glass moulding on rear of bottle reads 'Federal Law Forbids Sale Or Reuse Of This Bottle' and 'The Glendronach Distillery Co Ltd Huntly Scotland'. 2 part moulded bottle with glass coding that suggests wartime or slightly later glass production. Label style is that which first appeared during prohibiiton era and states 'Most suitable for medicinal purposes'. No statements of capacity. 70 proof. Level in neck. Some label creasing and natural fading appropriate to age otherwise bottle remains in absolutely beautiful condition. This bottle came from a large collection of an elderly Scottish gentleman who is in his 80s and had begun to buy bottles in the early 1950s. One to keep and one to drink. All bottles have been stored upright in a cupboard since purchase.
